For over 30 years I have worked in animal genetic and data companies as Chief Executive or non executive director. The companies I worked for all had one thing in common: in order to secure a sustainable future, they had to change their business model.
This experience is paired with a unique personal background, competing as an Olympic athlete at the Los Angeles 1984 Games and serving my country as a special forces operator.

Turn around of a 10 year loss making multi species genetics company into the star performer of stock listed Nutreco.
CRV Royal Cooperative
Facilitated the cross border merger of the original Belgium and Dutch cooperative owners into 1 new cooperative. Gave new purpose to the new cooperative based on data collection as corner stone for genetic development

Interim management ranging public/private to startups and from medical diagnostics to classical genetics.
Governance and bridge building
Co-founder of data sharing platforms JoinData and EuroGenomics. Facilitated the start of djustconnect. Held numerous non-executive board seats amongst which: Aquagen, JoinData, EuroGenomics and more recently a supervisory board member of Rabobank Land van Cuijk & Maasduinen.
